Heart of Lemuria brings together five crystal singing bowls in a gathering of soft blue, translucent blue, rich ocean colour and clear crystal. Inspired by imagined ocean temples, angelic light and the mystery of distant shores, this collection invites you into a ritual of heartfelt listening and celestial contemplation.
 
There is a luminous stillness about this set. A feeling of entering a temple open to the sea, where light moves across the walls and the horizon becomes part of the room.
Drawing upon contemporary spiritual imagery of Lemuria and Mintaka, Heart of Lemuria weaves together themes of belonging, compassion and connection with the natural world. The ocean becomes a symbol of depth and relationship, while angelic imagery offers a focus for loving presence and gentle guidance.
 
Each bowl holds a different part of this story: the mist above the water, the light passing through it, the depths beneath its surface and the open sky beyond.

The lowest voice provides the musical foundation of the collection. Her blue presence evokes sheltered lagoons and imagined ocean sanctuaries. She represents connection and belonging, inviting you to begin with a moment of attention to where you are.
 
Oceans of Grace · 6.5" · D#4
Rich ocean-blue Oceans of Grace brings depth and devotional warmth. Her D#4 introduces a suspended quality above the lower A#3, opening the harmony into a spacious, enquiring character. She weaves Mintakan ocean imagery with angelic compassion, inviting you to meet your feelings with care.
 
Mintakan Mist · 6" · G4
Soft blue Mintakan Mist evokes the quiet meeting of sea and sky. Her G4 forms a gentle and expansive lifting, adding an open relationship between the lower and upper voices. She represents joyful and heartfelt expression: the patience to listen before finding your words.
 
Seraphic Light · 6" · F4
Translucent blue Seraphic Light shares Mintakan Mist’s F4, offering a perfect fifth to the A#. Her angelic imagery brings themes of kindness, dedication and loving attention. Played in turn, these two bowls invite close listening to the individual character of each voice.
 
Radiance · 5.25" · A#4
Clear crystal Radiance carries the highest note, sounding an octave above Lemurian Waters. Her transparent appearance brings a luminous contrast to the blues, like sunlight reaching into water. She represents openness, fresh perspective and the quiet clarity of an intention given form.
 
The Heart of Lemuria Resonance:
 
The set’s notes form a suspended fourth harmony built on A# - more conventionally written as B♭sus4 - with F4 represented by two bowls. Without a major or minor third, the chord offers an open musical character suited to spacious phrases and lingering pauses.
 
Begin with Lemurian Waters’ lower A#3, then introduce Radiance’s A#4 to explore their octave relationship. Add either F4 bowl to hear the open fifth, followed by Oceans of Grace’s D#4 to reveal the suspended colour.
 
Mintakan Mist and Seraphic Light offer an opportunity to alternate two voices at the same named pitch. Explore them individually before layering them, allowing your listening to guide the combinations you choose.
 
Working symbolically with the heart, throat and crown chakras, Heart of Lemuria invites reflection on what it means to feel connected while remaining true to your own voice. Water becomes an image for this enquiry: responsive, expressive and always in relationship with its surroundings.

If you require an exact size please let us know. Due to the handmade nature of our bowls, they may turn out within 0.5” of their chosen size. When ordering a note, it is not possible to select cent tuning. Please let us know if you need a precise cent tuning as it is advisable that you choose from our stock.
