Service Description
The Old Ways Circle is a half-day ceremonial retreat held at the turning points of the year, aligned with the eight festivals of the Wheel of the Year. These gatherings honour the ancient rhythms of the land — sowing and harvest, light and dark, rest and renewal — inviting us to pause and remember our place within the wider cycle of life. Each retreat is shaped by the season it honours. We move slowly and intentionally through a woven day of sound healing, guided meditation, simple ritual, and shared presence. This is time set aside to step out of linear busyness and into seasonal time — a deeper, listening time. The shape of the day: The Old Ways Circle is held as a gently unfolding journey. Over the course of the retreat you may experience: - immersive sound healing journeys - guided meditation and visualisation - ancient song sharing - ceremonial cacao or seasonal herbal infusions - a sharing circle, with space for journaling - altar crafting using natural and seasonal materials - moments of rest, reflection, and integration Everything is invitational. You are free to participate in the ways that feel right for you. Honouring the old rhythms: These ceremonies draw inspiration from earth-based traditions that recognised the intelligence of the land and the wisdom of seasonal living. Through symbol, sound, and ritual, we mark each threshold with care — not as performance, but as remembrance. This is not about recreating the past, but about listening to what is still alive and relevant now. About rooting ourselves in the present moment while honouring the cycles that shape all life. What to expect: The atmosphere is earthy, devotional, and quietly held. The pace is slow. There is time to arrive, to feel, to rest, and to integrate. Many people leave feeling grounded, nourished, and reconnected — not only to the season, but to themselves. All mats, blankets, cushions, and eye pillows are provided. You will be supported throughout the day with warmth, care, and gentle guidance. You may wish to bring your journal, pen and a sacred item/s to weave into the altar. Who this is for: The Old Ways Circle is especially supportive if you are: - longing to live in closer rhythm with the seasons - feeling disconnected from nature or community - navigating transition or change - seeking depth, meaning, and a sense of belonging We will close the day with grounding, health snacks and tea!

Cancellation Policy
At The Tone Temple, each session, ceremony, and gathering is prepared with care, intention, and limited capacity. When you book a place, that space is held especially for you. Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start time of an event or session are eligible for a full refund, or you may choose to transfer your booking to a future date (subject to availability). Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable. This includes group ceremonies, sound baths, moon circles, cacao ceremonies, and one-to-one sessions. Transfers: If you are unable to attend and give at least 48 hours’ notice, your booking may be transferred to another Tone Temple offering of equal value, where possible. Transfers requested within 48 hours cannot be guaranteed. Non-attendance: If you do not attend an event or session without prior notice, the booking is considered a no-show and is non-refundable. Exceptional circumstances: We understand that life can be unpredictable. If an emergency arises, please contact us as soon as possible. While refunds within 48 hours are not guaranteed, we will always approach situations with compassion and fairness where we can. Why this policy exists: The Tone Temple is a small, intimate space with limited places available. Late cancellations often mean a space cannot be filled, and energy, preparation, and resources have already been committed. This policy helps ensure the sustainability of the Temple and allows us to continue offering well-held, high-quality experiences. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.
